Leeds United supporters have been left frustrated by their side’s failure to sign Lee Tomlin from Bournemouth.
According to the Daily Mirror, Leeds had wanted to sign Tomlin and the 27-year-old was keen on a move to Elland Road.
However, the attacker has now completed a switch to Bristol City on loan until the end of the season.
The Robins acted quickly to snap up Tomlin, and Leeds fans have slammed their side’s lack of ambition.
Tomlin has been a standout performer at Middlesbrough and Peterborough United at Championship level before, and his addition would have increased the Whites’ attacking threat.
The creative attacking midfielder had the ability to light up Elland Road, but Leeds rejected the opportunity to make a bid.
Leeds have made three signings so far in the January transfer window, but supporters of the Yorkshire side feel that more additions are needed and they were hoping for Tomlin’s arrival.
Here is the best reaction from Leeds’ fans to their side’s failure to sign Tomlin on social media site Twitter.
Tomlin is obviously going to do wonders for Bristol...— Beth (@BF_lufc) January 27, 2016

Tomlin off to Bristol C. Think we've missed out on what would have been a quality signing there. Was great for Boro last year. #lufc— Michael (@Michael88445) January 27, 2016
