Fulham have reportedly rejected the forward's request amid interest from Middlesbrough. Leeds fans aren't surprised...

Fulham forward Ross McCormack is said to have handed in a transfer request amid interest from promotion-chasing Middlesbrough.

According to the Daily Mail, the Scot is trying to force through a £12 million move to Middlesbrough. Fulham, however, are standing firm - as reported by Sky Sports.

For Leeds United fans, this is nothing new.

Indeed, McCormack handed in a transfer request at Elland Road and made sure he got his move to Fulham. Now, Leeds fans aren't surprised the 29-year-old is doing it all over again...

In many ways, you can understand this transfer request a lot more than the one at Leeds. Top scorer at Elland Road, McCormack wanted his Fulham switch to try and challenge for promotion to the Premier League.

Now, Fulham are just a few points off the relegation zone - with Leeds above them in the Championship table.

If McCormack wants promotion, Middlesbrough is one of the places to be. But is the Scot once again showing a fundamental lack of loyalty? Here's how United fans reacted to the news on Twitter...
