Report: Brighton and Hove Albion's Rohan Ince linked with Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday reportedly want to sign Rohan Ince from Brighton and Hove Albion.

According to a report in the Daily Mirror, Sheffield Wednesday are hoping to sign Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Rohan Ince on loan.

Wednesday already have a lot of quality at the club, but Carlos Carvalhal is keen to add depth to his squad.

The Portuguese boss has targeted players with experience of playing in the Championship throughout January.

And Ince could be the next target on his wishlist, with Wednesday optimistic over the possibility of completing a loan deal.

Brighton are keen to offload the powerful youngster, as they have just brought in Steve Sidwell.

Sidwell’s arrival is likely to knock Ince down the pecking order, and Brighton realise that a lack of first team action could harm the 23-year-old’s development.

Wednesday will reportedly have to compete with Fulham for Ince’s signature, though, as Slavisa Jokanovic’s side are also keen on signing the England youth international.
