The former Tottenham Hotspur striker has completed a free transfer to Selhurst Park.
Crystal Palace made an excellent looking signing yesterday by finalising a deal to sign former Tottenham Hotspur striker on a free transfer. The Togo striker, who was released by Spurs in September, will be tasked with helping a talented but goal-shy Palace attack back up the Premier League table.
If he is going to thrive in the Palace side than he will need to have a good link-up with his new team-mate Yannick Bolasie.
The DR Congo winger has proven himself to be an excellent talent in the Premier League. He has been out injured recently and Palace have suffered but he posted this tweet earlier today showing himself and Palaces's new signing fully kitted in the Palace training gear, as they both look to regain their fitness for the Palace run-in:
Palace fans will be rightly excited about the rest of this season with an attacking triumvirate of Bolasie, Adebayor and Wilfried Zaha to terrorise Premier League defences for the rest of the season.
If Adebayor can keep his head straight and hit the back of the net regularly then this could prove to be the signing of the transfer window.
