Speaking to talkSPORT, Neil Warnock has predicted that Rangers will win promotion to the Scottish Premiership this season.
When asked if Rangers are going to win promotion, Warnock said: “I think so. I think Rangers are the better team this year. Hibernian are a good side, but I don’t think they’re up to Rangers’ standard. I do think Rangers will end up winning it.”
Rangers currently lead the Championship table, with 52 points from 21 games having lost just twice all season.
They are five points clear of second placed Hibs, whilst both those sides have a game in hand over Falkirk, who are in third place with 46 points.
The Gers are leading the way, and have strengthen this January to strengthen their hold on the title as we head into the final stages of the season.
Mark Warburton has built a team who are capable of pushing aside most teams in the Championship with ease, and they play a brand of football which has proven to be extremely effective - and enjoyable to watch.
There have been some stutters from the Gers, but overall, their consistency has kept them at the top of the league, and they should go on and not only win promotion - but actually win the league.
Warnock believes they will do just that, and it is a view shared by many who have seen Rangers soar to the top of the Championship table this term.
