Birmingham City fans are delighted that Diego Fabbrini has completed a move from Watford today.
Birmingham have moved to bring in the attacking midfielder as their first permanent signing of the January transfer window.
The Blues have been looking to replace Demarai Gray, after the winger left to join Leicester City, and Fabbrini’s arrival goes some way to increasing their attacking threat.
The Italian had been scheduled to spend the season with Middlesbrough, but Aitor Karanka’s side were willing to cut his temporary move short when Birmingham agreed a fee with Fabbrini.
The 25-year-old’s talents are well known to Blues fans, after he spent part of the 2014/15 season at St. Andrews, making five appearances.
And Birmingham fans have welcomed Fabbrini’s return on social media site Twitter today.
