Adam Danks paints a different picture of Berahino than is common perception.
It was reported just today that Spurs were looking to pick up their interest in the talented forward - with a fee of £17 million mooted by the Daily Mail.
In the summer Berahino picked up a pretty poor reputation for the way in which he attempted to force a move from The Hawthorns.
He took to Twitter to vent his anger at the the decision of his chairman Jeremy Peace not to sell to Tottenham in what was the transfer saga of the summer.
But despite his reputation one man at West Brom has spoke in glowing terms about the striker today.
West Brom under-18s coach Aaron Danks has praised the way Berahino interacts with the club's young players, as reported by the Birmingham Mail:
"They see Saido every day.
"Saido will come out and do extra finishing practice with some of the players.
"He'll come and join in on Under 21 training sessions so they can see a pathway and they get the inspiration all the time."
Berahino has a reputation as a sulker and whinger and some would say he deserves it. However it also has to be said that he is a driven and clearly likable character as well.
Hopefully he can start to shake off his rep in the weeks and months to come.
Whether that will be at West Brom, Tottenham or elsewhere remains to be seen.
