Leeds United winger Stuart Dallas has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to the dismissal of Rangers midfielder Andy Halliday on Monday evening.
The 24-year-old failed to finish the Scottish Championship game between Rangers and Greenock Morton, as he was sent off for celebrating the Gers’ second goal.
Halliday was shown a second yellow card for celebrating his side's second goal in front of the Morton fans at Cappielow Park .
Leeds winger Dallas was stunned with the referee’s decision to show the former Middlesbrough midfielder the second yellow card, sending him off in the process.
The referees in Scotland clearly don't like Andy Halliday.Another shocking decision to send him off.— stuart dallas (@dallas_stuart) January 25, 2016
The dismissal of Halliday, though, did not have any effect on the final result, as Rangers won 2-0.
Kenny Miller took advantage of a deflection in the box to poke the Glasgow giants in front in the 26th minute. Barrie McKay played a neat one-two before doubling the lead on 70 minutes.
Mark Warburton’s side are at the top of the Scottish Championship table at the moment with 53 points from 21 matches, five points clear of second-placed Hibernian.
