Manchester United linked with a double raid on Porto.
Manchester United are plotting a double transfer swoop on Porto, claim The Sun.
The two players in their sights are midfielder Ruben Neves, and defender Bruno Martins Indi.
Neves is Porto's club captain at just 18, and helped his side defeat Chelsea earlier this season in the Champions League.
He has a £29 million release clause in his contract, which is not unreasonable for a player of his clear potential.
Martins Indi is a player Van Gaal knows well as he was part of his Netherland World Cup squad, and is still only 23.
He is a player the Red Devils need even more than Neves, due to their lack of options at the back.
Like Daley Blind, he can play at centre-back and left-back, and will give United increased options, much needed amid ongoing injury troubles.
Neves is an outstanding prospect, and while competition for places in United's midfield is tough, long term he could be the replacement the club need for Michael Carrick.
The Mail also report that United sent scouts to watch the pair at the weekend.
