Report: Karren Brady travelling to Turkey to push through transfer of Burak Yilmaz

West Ham are hoping to confirm the signing of Burak Yilmaz.

The Hammers are are hoping to sign Burak Yilmaz this month, and Turkish media outlet Hurriyet claims that vice-chairman Karren Brady is travelling to Istanbul to personally oversee the signing of the Galatasaray striker.

Yilmaz has scored 139 times in 233 appearances for Gala, establishing himself as one of the most prolific forwards in Turkish football.

He has a wealth of international experience, and has played in both Europa League and Champions League with his club.

The 30-year-old is a proven goalscorer, and he looks to have all the talents to excel in the Premier League. He is strong, fast and powerful, and is the archetype of the perfect modern day lone forward.

For West Ham, who are looking to sign a new forward, Yilmaz is a no risk signing, and they want to get a deal over the line as soon as possible.

To push through a move, Hammers’ vice-chairman Karren Brady is set to travel to Istanbul to hold personal talks with Yilmaz, to convince him to move to the Boleyn Ground.

Gala are prepared to sell Yilmaz, and all that remains to be done is to secure the striker’s signature before the end of this month.
