Rangers secured a 2-0 victory over Morton on Monday evening.
Rangers secured another three points on Monday to keep their lead at the top of the Scottish Championship table at five points.
Kenny Miller netted the opener in the first half, and Barrie McKay secured all three points in the second period, although the Gers had to play the final 18 minutes of the game with 10 men.
Andy Halliday was dismissed after picking up two yellow cards, although the second one was handed out simply for Halliday celebrating the second goal, apparently in an over-exubarent manner.
It was a ridiculous sending off, but thankfully for Mark Warburton, the dismissal did not cost Rangers their lead, and they held on for the remaining period of the game and secured all three points.
The Gers have now played 21 games and sit on 53 points, with just two losses to their name, and they have kept a lead over Hibs which would have been closed if the Gers had lost to Morton.
Following the game, a selection of the Rangers squad reacted to the result on Twitter. Harry Forrester admitted disappointment at failing to score, whilst Dominic Ball - on loan from Tottenham - and Wes Foderingham have also expressed their delight at the result.
