Rangers fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the signing of Toumani Diagouraga by Leeds United.
Diagouraga has joined Leeds from Championship rivals Brentford on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Scottish Championship outfit Rangers were interested in the 28-year-old midfielder, according to a report in The Scottish Sun earlier this month.
The Scottish Sun had also quoted Diagouraga as saying that he would be interested in working with former Brentford manager Mark Warburton at Rangers.
However, it is Leeds who have snapped up the Frenchman, who is regarded as one of the better midfielders in the Championship.
In 27 league games this campaign, the Frenchman has created 14 chances, has a pass accuracy of 86%, and has won 15 headers, 10 dribbles and 28 tackles.

Diagouraga maybe just fancied going to Leeds and not coming to Scotland ? Let's speculate though and put boot into #RFC. Usual media hype— NW (@457ish) January 25, 2016
@ibroxrocks Don't understand why Gers didn't just go in and get Diagouraga long before Leeds came in. Price fair and Warbs wanted him.— Iain Bishop (@IainSpursfan) January 22, 2016
With big Diagouraga looking likely to go to Leeds hope we have our eye on another defensive mid......— Cheryl (@gers_chick) January 22, 2016

If RFC were haggling for a price for Diagouraga - then Leeds have just decided it - match it or walk away time.— Scott #Dunderheids (@st2oh) January 22, 2016
