The exciting young Aston Villa forward maintained his fine recent form.
Aston Villa youngster Jerell Sellars has taken to Twitter after his brace in a 3-2 victory for the club’s under-21s against their Wolverhampton Wanderers counterparts earlier this week.
Sellars is a 20-year-old centre forward who can also play on either flank if required and with Villa struggling for goals his form may well have caught the attention of manager Remi Garde.
Villa have a number of exciting young players coming through the ranks right now but few are having the same impact at under-21 level as Sellars, who has now scored six goals in 13 matches this season, including four in his last five.
With two assists in that time as well the forward is fast becoming a key player in terms of many of the goals Villa’s next generation are scoring and it may not be too long before he makes his first-team debut.
After his latest outing Sellars wrote, “Buzzing to beat Wolves tonight and to score another two goals.”
Andre Green also expressed his delight after the final whistle and in time both players are expected to feature prominently for the senior side.
