Cyrus Christie sends message to Derby fans on Twitter after Burnley defeat

Derby County were beaten 4-1 by Burnley yesterday evening.

Cyrus Christie has tweeted that Derby County need to move on after losing 4-1 to Burnley last night.

The Rams have now taken just two points out of the last 15 available to them, and they have slipped down to fifth place in the Championship table.

However, Christie insists that now is not the time to panic - as his side’s performance wasn’t too poor against Burnley.

Derby were rather unfortunate to suffer such an unflattering scoreline at Turf Moor - as they were the better team for much of the contest.

The Rams had most of the chances in the fixture, but they could not convert and they were made to pay.

Burnley netted an own-goal, two penalties and a heavily deflected strike to secure their victory.

Sean Dyche is unlikely to be too concerned by the rather fortuitous manner of his side’s victory, though, as it has pushed them much closer to the automatic promotion spaces.
