Leicester held a team meeting earlier this week, where they went on to discuss their plans for February.
The Foxes have already met their initial target of collecting 40 points this season, but with the Midlands side still sitting at the top of the Premier League table, their targets have changed.
And Ranieri has told his players that they simply cannot afford to let up if they are to have any chance of winning the title in May.
"I told the players in the briefing that the month of February is very, very tough, so it was important to be top of the league,” Ranieri said.
“If a bad moment arrives, we are strong to get over this bad moment. February will be crucial for us.”
Many observers have been expecting Leicester’s bubble to burst throughout the campaign, but they have reacted well to every setback they have suffered so far.
The Foxes are now 10 points clear of fifth placed Manchester United, but they do have a tough run of games coming up.
Leicester take on Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Norwich City in February, in a month which should thoroughly examine their title winning credentials.
