Chris Dawson has made four senior appearances for Leeds United over his career to date.
Chris Dawson has confirmed his departure from Leeds United on Twitter.
Dawson was once regarded as one of the finest prospects in Leeds’ youth academy, but he failed to break into the first team to claim a regular spot.
The young midfielder made his senior debut for the Whites back in 2013, and went on to make three further substitute appearances.
He has not played at all this season, however, and it seems that the two parties have agreed that it would be best to move on.
Dawson was obviously emotional about leaving the club he has grown up at, and he posted a message on social media site Twitter this afternoon.
Dawson was also messaged by Sam Byram, who has also recently left Elland Road to join West Ham United.
Byram and Dawson were in the same age group in Leeds’ youth team set-up, and remain good friends.
