The Foxes have set the Premier League alight in this most open of seasons and are three points clear at the top of the table with 15 games remaining.
Claudio Ranieri's men ran out comfortable 3-0 winners over Stoke City at the weekend in a game which saw a return to goalscoring form for hotshot Jamie Vardy.
Someone who knows a thing or two about goals and winning the Premier League is Alan Shearer. As the record goalscorer in Premier League history, his views carry a lot of weight.
'Make no mistake, they can win it'
"I think it’s time for people to stop saying that Leicester can’t win the league," Shearer wrote on Coral.
"Make no mistake, Leicester can win the Premier League. Three points clear after 23 games is a remarkable achievement, so nobody should say they can’t do it.
"I know they have three tough games coming up, but they had three tough games over Christmas and they answered the questions then as well.
"We have been waiting a long time for this Leicester bubble to burst, but it must be the biggest bubble in history at this stage!
"The more people keep on expecting the blip to hit, the more the pressure will be off Leicester.
"It would be absolutely amazing if they did it, it would be the biggest shock ever in football. I can’t remember a team that were that big a price at the beginning of the season, to go on and win the title.
"It would also be pretty embarrassing for all the other clubs who have spent hundreds of millions. Every neutral will want Leicester to do it."
Foxes are no scavengers
Shearer is spot on in his assessment and this has been no smash and grab raid by the unfancied middle Englanders.
They have been on the front foot from the start of the season and have show no signs of slowing down for anyone.
Nobody can deny Ranieri and his men their day in the sun.
Neutrals are hoping the Foxes can continue their amazing season and upset the apple cart for the good of the Premier League.
The record breaking achievements of Vardy are inspirational to youngsters and footballers in the non-league.
Mahrez has arguably been one of the standout players in the division and both have inevitably been linked with bigger clubs.
For now, though, Leicester fans can enjoy every moment of watching their side play with little or no pressure on their shoulders.
