West Brom and West Ham have both been linked with moves for Mario Balotelli, Calciomercato reports.
The Italian striker is currently on loan at AC Milan in Serie A, from Premier League side Liverpool.
He linked up with Sinisa Mihajlovic’s team over the summer hoping to revive his career, after a poor season with the Reds.
He managed just 28 appearances, and his goal record of four was ridiculed with endless missed chances.
However, his time back in his homeland has been even poorer, and the 25-year-old has played just six games, scoring once.
The report claims that Milan are ready to cancel the loan deal for the Italian international, and Balotelli’s agent himself is pushing for a return to England this month.
However, that will not be to remain at Liverpool, with both West Ham and West Brom said to be looking at signing Balotelli before the end of the transfer window.
It is not stated whether it would be on a permanent or a loan deal, and it is the Baggies who are reportedly leading the race for his signature.
There are no issues with registration as Balotelli has only played for one side this season, and it remains to be seen whether Liverpool would willingly transfer one of their players to a Premier League rival.
