Fulham and Brighton & Hove Albion are interested in signing Steve Sidwell from Stoke City in the January transfer window, according to Sky Sports.
Sidwell has been on the books of Stoke since 2014 and has a contract until the end of the season.
The former Reading and Chelsea midfielder is struggling for playing time at the moment, and it makes sense for the Potters to sell him this month.
The 33-year-old has played just once in the Premier League so far this season and has made only four appearances in all competitions.
With Stoke (reportedly) willing to sell him, it would be best for Sidwell if he leaves the Britannia Stadium.
Mark Hughes’s side are ninth in the Premier League table at the moment with 33 points from 23 matches, nine points behind Tottenham Hotspur, who are currently fourth and occupy the final Champions League spot.
