HITC Sport understands the Watford goalkeeper could leave before the close of the transfer window.
Watford goalkeeper Giedrius Arlauskis is considering leaving the club after dropping further down the pecking order at Vicarage Road, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Arlauskis, who joined Watford on a free transfer from Steaua Bucharest last summer, started the season as No.2 goalkeeper to Heurelho Gomes
The Lithuania international has made just two appearances for Watford since his arrival at the club, one in the Capital One Cup and the other in the Premier League as a substitute after Gomes was injured during the win over Aston Villa in November.
Arlauskis has provided back-up for Gomes on the bench for Watford so far this season, but the recent arrival of Costel Pantilimon has pushed him down the pecking order.
Pantilimon was named on the bench for Saturday's win over Newcastle which meant that Arlauskis was missing from the match-day squad for the first time this season.
Arlauskis is now thought to be ready to move on rather than find himself being third-choice at Watford, and the club are open to offers for the player as they feel they have enough cover in the goalkeeping department.
