According to the Daily Mail, Celtic are set to complete the signing of Patrick Roberts, with the Manchester City teenager poised to join the Bhoys on loan.
Ronny Deila's Celtic completed their first January signing last week, snapping up Danish international centre back Erik Sviatchenko from FC Midtjylland.
Even after 4-1, 8-1 and 3-1 wins over Dundee United, Hamilton Academical and St. Johnstone, manager Deila may still be looking for more additions - and it seems that one new arrival could be close.
The Daily Mail report that Celtic are close to signing Manchester City's teenage winger Patrick Roberts on loan until the end of the season.
Roberts, 18, only signed for City from Fulham over the summer, having earned a reputation as being one of England's brightest young talents during his time at Craven Cottage.
However, the teenage wide man has unsurprisingly struggled to play first-team football at the Etihad Stadium, and a loan move could now be on the cards.
It's stated that Roberts has agreed a loan deal with Celtic until the end of the season, bringing an injection of quality to Deila's flanks as the Bhoys continuing their strong relationship with Manuel Pellegrini's men.
Celtic loaned Jason Denayer and John Guidetti from City last season, before signing Dedryck Boyata permanently - and if reports are to be believed, Roberts will becoming the latest City player to make the move to Glasgow.
Would Roberts be a good signing for Celtic?
