Jordan Graham sends an emphatic message to John Stones' critics on Twitter

The injured Wolves forward believes those that criticise the Everton defender will be sorry.

Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Jordan Graham believes Everton defender John Stones is receiving 'way too much' criticism.

Indeed, the Championship star, who was one of the division's form players before suffering a serious injury, believes Stones' critics will be sorry when the defender eventually makes a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Plenty of observers have criticised Stones of late, not least Jamie Carragher, who felt the Everton defender was simply 'too cocky' against Swansea City.

However, the Sky Sports pundit did raise the key issue of whether the need to do silly things in his own half stems from Stones himself or actually his manager Roberto Martinez.

Everton face Manchester City in the second leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final on Wednesday night. That could now be a season-defining game. If the Toffees win a cup - or even just reach the final - their woeful Premier League form might be forgiven a little more.
