Jamie Paterson reacts on Twitter to Derby loss... can't hide his delight

Jamie Paterson couldn't hide his delight on Twitter as Burnley beat Derby County 4-1 on Monday night.

Indeed, the Nottingham Forest-owned winger, on loan at Huddersfield, took to social media after seeing the Clarets net three quick-fire goals against Derby.

Burnley took the lead in the first half but conceded a spectacular equaliser.

After half-time, however, Derby gave away two penalties, which were converted, before Burnley added a fourth goal.

And Paterson endeared himself to Nottingham Forest fans even further by poking fun at the Rams.

Derby's plight will no doubt delight the Forest faithful. Paul Clement's side still find themselves 11 points above their bitter rivals but Burnley's huge win is certainly a sizable dent in their promotion push.

In terms of recent fortunes, though, Nottingham Forest are faring much better, with Dougie Freedman's men unbeaten in 12.

A night to forget for Derby at Turf Moor, while the home side did their promotion chances no harm whatsoever...
