The West Ham forward has started to come good at Upton Park...
There were plenty of positives for West Ham United on Saturday afternoon when they drew 2-2 with Manchester City.
And not least, despite the likes of Dimitri Payet and Enner Valencia stealing the show, was Michail Antonio.
Indeed, the winger was signed for £7 million last summer, according to the Daily Mail, but made a slow start to life at West Ham.
Recently, however, he has excelled. And, despite the fact on-loan Chelsea man Victor Moses is now returning to full fitness, it could be that Antonio has permanently dislodged him from the Hammers first team.
Moses started the season held in higher esteem by boss Slaven Bilic but, of late, Antonio's great strides have upped the pressure on the 25-year-old.
As such, Moses wasn't as effective when he came on for West Ham against City.
Both can do a job for the Hammers, of course, and are equally vital when it comes to squad depth. But it looks like Antonio is now ahead of Moses in the pecking order. Which is great for West Ham - as he is there for good, while Moses is only on loan.
