Confirmed Rangers line-up v Morton: Jason Holt misses out entirely, Zelalem starts

Rangers Gates

Rangers take on Morton tonight - here is how they line up.

Rangers starting line-up: Foderingham, Tavernier, Wilson, Kiernan, Wallace; Zelalem, Halliday, Law; McKay, Miller, Waghorn.

Rangers substitutes: Bell, Ball, Thompson, Forrester, Shiels, Hardie, Clark.

Rangers will be looking to rack up another win tonight, as they travel to Cappielow to take on Greenock Morton in the Scottish Championship.

The Gers have won their last three games in a row, beating Hibernian, Dumbarton and Livingston 4-2, 6-0 and 4-1 respectively, as Mark Warburton's men continue their push for promotion.

Currently just two points ahead of second placed Hibs, Rangers play their game in hand tonight, and can stretch that lead at the top back out to five points with a victory.

Tonight's teamsheet intriguingly doesn't contain star midfielder Jason Holt, with the diminutive playmaker out of the squad entirely, most likely with an injury problem.

Nicky Law is handed a start in central midfield as a result, whilst Arsenal loanee Gedion Zelalem will start in midfield, with Andy Halliday in front of the back four.

Barrie McKay and Martyn Waghorn will be supporting Kenny Miller in attack, whilst new signing Harry Forrester is handed a place on the bench.

Fellow new arrival Maciej Gostomski isn't on the bench though, with Cammy Bell assuming the role of substitute goalkeeper this evening.
