Sam Byram made his debut for West Ham United against Manchester City on Saturday evening.

West Ham United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their on the performance of Sam Byram against Manchester City.

Byram made his debut for West Ham against City at the Boleyn Ground in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

The 22-year-old, who can play as a right-back or as a right-winger, joined the Hammers from Championship side Leeds United just a few days ago.

The English youngster started the game against City on the substitutes’ bench and came on in the 13th minute when Arsenal-owned right-back Carl Jenkinson suffered an injury.

Byram played well against Manuel Pellegrini’s side and held on own against one of the favourites to win the Premier League title this season.

The former Leeds star had a pass accuracy of 74%, and won one header and one tackle.
