The 29-year-old Spaniard has received plenty of criticism this season but drew praise from the Hornets faithful on Saturday.
Quique Sanchez Flores' side would no doubt have been delighted to put an end to a run of four defeats in a row - and it had a bit of de ja vu about it as they beat Newcastle 2-1 once again.
And it was Jurado who caught the eye in particular as far as Watford fans were concerned at Vicarage Road.
Indeed, the Spaniard has received a lot of criticism so far this season but was praised for his role in the win against the Magpies.
Jurado was played in behind the strikers and many commented on a much more natural performance from the 29-year-old when he was allowed to play through the middle, as opposed to out wide left.
Some Watford fans were still criticial of the Spaniard but others can't quite figure out where the negativity is coming from. Here's how supporters reacted to his display against Newcastle on Twitter:
I'd like to see Jurado in that role behind Deeney and Ighalo more often. It really suited him down to the ground. #WatfordFC— WatfordFCBlog (@WatfordFCBlog) January 24, 2016
And if QSF can add shots and the odd goal to Jurado portfolio then we have a potential worldy #Watfordfc— Holly68 (@Holly68Paul) January 24, 2016
QSF earned his money yesterday. 4 defeats and changed the system. Worked a treat and played to jurado's strengths. #watfordfc— Rob Ezekiel (@Rob_Ezekiel) January 24, 2016

Pleased for Jurado. Some of criticism has been ludicrous. Not sure he will but be good to see him now get a run in best position #watfordfc— Anthony Matthews (@Ant_WatfordObs) January 23, 2016
