According to The Sun, Liverpool goalkeeper Adam Bogdan wants to leave the club on loan.
The report indicates that the Hungary international is fed up of being left out following high-profile errors and is keen for more regular action ahead of this summer’s European Championships.
Bogdan joined the Reds from Bolton Wanderers last summer after playing more than 100 league appearances for the Trotters over an eight-year period with the club.
The 28-year-old arrived at Anfield with Premier League experience, yet thus far he has struggled to make any sort of impression when called upon to deputise for the equally error-prone Simon Mignolet.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has since brought back Danny Ward from a loan spell at Aberdeen, suggesting that Bogdan has now become the club’s third choice shot-stopper.
The Sun suggests that the player is seeking a loan move to the Championship where games will come thick and fast ahead of what promises to be an historic summer for Hungary.
Bogdan, 28, has come in for criticism for his errors against both Watford and Exeter City but there is some talent in there – or at least enough to attract the attentions of a second-tier side.
