The Chilean striker made a much anticipated return in Sunday's 1-0 defeat.
The Gunners were beaten 1-0 by their London rivals on Sunday evening, with a Diego Costa goal sealing the points for Guus Hiddink’s side.
It was a second successive disappointing result for Arsene Wenger’s men, after they had to settle for a point against Stoke City last time round.
One positive though was the return from injury of star-man Alexis Sanchez, and Wright has urged the Arsenal faithful to focus on that rather than the defeat.
"It is not title-winning form from Arsenal,” he told BBC Sport.
“That is eight points out of 18. The guys have to bounce back. The return of Alexis Sanchez is a positive so we have to focus on that.”
The return of Sanchez is certainly a big positive for the Gunners, with the forward sure to play a big role in the second half of the campaign.
While his injury was a big blow at the time, especially considering he missed the busy Christmas period, it may actually transpire that it was a blessing in disguise.
The Chilean had a busy year for club and country, and given his style of football he was in danger of running himself into the ground before the end of the campaign.
Instead, he will now be fresh for the last 15 games of the season and that could prove vital as the Gunners eye the title come May.
