As revealed by HITC Sport last week, up to three clubs were planning bids for van La Parra and now sources have revealed that Huddersfield are one of the mystery clubs.
Van la Parra has just recently returned to Wolves after a successful spell on loan at Championship rivals Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Dutchman impressed at the Amex Stadium, scoring two goals in six appearances for the Seagulls during his month-long stint at the club.
Since his return to Molineux van La Parra has started Wolves' last four games in an unfamiliar striking role because of Benik Afobe's departure to Bournemouth earlier this month.
Wolves are in the market for striking reinforcements before the close of the transfer window and should manager Kenny Jackett bring in any new signings it remains to be seen if van La Parra figures in his long-term plans.
Several of Wolves' Championship rivals are thought to be monitoring van La Parra's situation at Molinuex and Huddersfield have firmed up their interest in the 24-year-old with a bid for his services.
