Leeds United appear to have another new player in the bag.

Leeds United manager Steve Evans has already sprung a few surprises with his transfer business since taking charge at Elland Road and it seems he is not done yet with the imminent signing of Brentford midfielder Toumani Diagouraga.

The 28-year-old recently took to Twitter to confirm that he was on his way to Elland Road and Brentford manager Dean Smith later told Get West London that a deal was all but done.

And now Diagouraga has been snapped wearing Leeds’ training kit for the first time, as he watched the Whites defeat Bristol City 1-0 on Saturday courtesy of a goal from the resurgent Souleymane Doukara.

Diagouraga’s signing is expected to be officially announced on Monday but the fact that he has confirmed the news himself and has now been photographed wearing a training top with Leeds’ club badge it seems only a formality.

Leeds could still do with another striker and potentially a new centre-back in what remains of the transfer window, but who knows what Evans and owner Massimo Cellino are planning in the days ahead?
