Harry Kane has been spotted wearing Tim Sherwood's infamous gillet.
The spirit of Tim Sherwood lives on at Tottenham despite the dazzling success of Mauricio Pochettino's young side.
First choice striker Harry Kane was spotted in one of Sherwood's iconic Spurs gillets, which he wore on the touchline instead of the traditional suit or tracksuit usually adorned by coaches.
Kane was wearing the gillet as he left the Tottenham team bus on arrival at Selhurst Park this weekend, ahead of their 3-1 win.
The England striker scored in the victory, his 13 Premier League goal of the season, even if this was overshadowed by Dele Alli's incredible volley.
Sherwood was the Tottenham boss who gave Kane his first league start in the side, and told SkySports last year that he stopped the club selling the youngster in January 2014.
He said: "It’s just great I resisted the temptation to get rid of him last January because perhaps he wouldn’t be the star he is for Tottenham now.
“He was never close to leaving in my opinion but there were people at the club who wanted to bring in another striker and sacrifice Harry Kane – but I wouldn’t allow that to happen."
Tottenham did not decide to keep Sherwood around, who is currently out of work after a mixed spell as Aston Villa manager, but perhaps Kane has not forgotten him.
