Norwich fans react on Twitter to Lewis Grabban's shocking miss v Sunderland

The 28-year-old spurned a golden opportunity for Bournemouth against the Black Cats.

Norwich City supporters were full of cheer on Saturday afternoon - despite the fact they were beaten 5-4 by Liverpool at Carrow Road.

There was certainly disappointment from the Canaries faithful... but a few fans perked up when they saw Lewis Grabban's miss for Bournemouth against Sunderland.

Indeed, the 28-year-old - who left Norwich for Bournemouth this January (having originally left Bournemouth for Norwich) spurned a golden opportunity against the Black Cats at the Stadium of Light.

Bournemouth ended up drawing 1-1 with Sunderland, which still gave them a point more than Norwich earned against Liverpool.

But Grabban's miss was enough to prompt plenty of reaction from Norwich fans on Twitter.

The Canaries are still two points clear of the relegation zone as things stand, with the Cherries a further two points above them in the Premier League. A Swansea win at Everton would send Norwich down to 17th in the table, however...

Here's the best of the reaction to Grabban's miss!
