Everton went down 2-1 to Swansea City in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Michael Ball has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Everton’s defeat to Swansea City on Sunday afternoon.

Everton failed to return to winning ways in the Premier League, as they went down 2-1 to Swansea at Goodison Park.

Gylfi Sigurdsson put the Swans in the lead from the penalty spot in the 17th minute, but Jack Cork scored an own goal on 26 minutes to make it 1-1.

Andre Ayew made it 2-1 to the Welsh outfit in the 34th minute, and neither side could add to the scoreline in the second half.

Former Everton defender Ball was following the match, and he was far from impressed with the performance of the defenders.

Danny Higginbotham, who played for the likes of Derby County and Sunderland, was also watching the match, and he gave his take on the Toffees’ performance on Twitter.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Goodison Park, hosts Everton had 60% of the possession, took 20 shots of which just two were on target, and earned seven corners.

Visitors Swansea had 40% of the possession, took seven shots of which five were on target, and earned one corner.
