We're sure he's absolutely devastated about this...
Some things are sacred in football. From Kevin Davies committing a record-breaking 782 fouls to Alan Shearer's goal-scoring record in the Premier League.
However sometimes, no matter how sacred they are, they end up getting battered or beaten. And sadly, in the case of one of our favourite records in the Premier League, that happened today.
You may not know this, but Mathieu Flamini is a bit of a lucky charm for Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League. In fact, every time the Frenchman has started in a league game at home, the Gunners have never, ever lost – a record that stretched an astonishing 54 games!
But sadly that record came to an end today, with London rivals Chelsea picking up a 1-0 win thanks to a first-half goal from Diego Costa.
Although the Gunners desperately looked for an equaliser, they weren't quite able to and dropped three points but most importantly ended Flamini's record.
As you can imagine, Arsenal fans across the land were absolutely devastated about the news:

Atleast, death to that Flamini record of 40+ games of never losing at the Emirates. He ended it himself... With that miss at half time.— T'wanise (@Aps3l) January 24, 2016
