Fawaz Al-Hasawi and Forest trio react on Twitter to win against Middlesbrough

Nottingham Forest won 1-0 against Middlesbrough in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Nottingham Forest chairman Fawaz Al-Hasawi has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Middlesbrough away from home on Saturday afternoon.

Forest got the better of Middlesbrough 1-0 at the Riverside Stadium in the Championship. Jamie Ward’s goal in the 70th minute proved to be the difference between the two teams.

Al-Hasawi has expressed his delight at the win on Twitter and has thanked the fans for their support, with three Forest players revelling in the victory on the social networking site.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Riverside Stadium, hosts Middlesbrough had 64% of the possession, took 11 shots of which just two were on target, and earned four corners.

Visitors Forest had just 36% of the possession, took six shots of which four were on target, and earned three corners.

Dougie Freedman’s side are 11th in the Championship table at the moment with 38 points from 28 matches.

The Reds are eight points behind Sheffield Wednesday, who are currently sixth and occupy the final playoff spot.
