The striker has been in impressive form for the Gunners this season.
The Frenchman has been in impressive form for the Gunners so far this term. He already has 12 Premier League goals to his name, with one in the FA Cup and five in the Champions League taking him to 18 in all competitions.
And he says he is targeting another eight in the remaining 16 league games to take him to 20 for the season, a tally he is yet to reach during his career to date at the Emirates.
"I would like to reach 20 goals in the Premier League, that would be nice and if I can help the team to reach our aims then I would be pleased with that," he is quoted as saying by the Mirror.
"For me, it would be nice if I could reach between 25 and 30 in all the competitions. It’s going to be tight until the end.
"It could even be that goal difference makes the difference. Confrontations with the top teams will be decisive so we need to be efficient, focused and show a lot of solidarity."
If Giroud is to reach his 20-goal target in the league this campaign, there is one man who will surely be key - and that's Mesut Ozil.
The German is enjoying his best ever season with Arsenal and is far ahead at the top of the assist charts, with 16 in 22 games to his name already.
His partnership with Giroud has been equally impressive, with the duo only behind Luis Suarez and Neymar as Europe’s best goalscoring partnership.
If the striker is to reach his targets this term, maintaining that partnership will be vital in the second half of the campaign.
