Harry Kane and Tottenham's man-of-the-moment react on Twitter to 3-1 win

Tottenham beat Crystal Palace 3-1 on Saturday afternoon.

A shock looked to be on the cards as Crystal Palace led Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon. Three second-half goals later, though, and the heavy favourites going into the clash emerged victorious...

It's a measure of how far Tottenham have come that they were even favourites at Selhurst Park in the first place.

Palace are off form but did beat Spurs in the same fixture last season. That outcome didn't even seem possible when the Eagles were 1-0 up this time around.

The headline, of course, was another superb contribution from Dele Alli - this one adding new levels of style to his performance as the 19-year-old netted with an absolute wonder strike.

No wonder Harry Kane felt the need to pay tribute to Alli on Twitter, then, and he wasn't the only one, with the Tottenham teenager going on to thank fans for their abundance of messages on social media...
