Christian Fuchs reckons his Leicester City team-mate Danny Drinkwater is the English Pirlo

Leicester City

We've got the Ginger Pirlo, Welsh Pirlo and now the English Pirlo!

It's almost the end of January and Claudio Ranieri's Leicester City are still top of the Premier League table! We're not sure anyone could have predicted this, but they just keep picking up points every week.

And they bagged themselves three points today, after beating Mark Hughes' Stoke City at the King Power Stadium. With fans starting to get a little bit worried by the lack of goals from Jamie Vardy, the Foxes had to turn to a player who has been having a brilliant season in midfield to help break the deadlock against the Potters...Danny Drinkwater.

He's come a long way since slightly breaking the internet earlier this season when a picture of him emerged of him actually drinking water (it was truly crazy stuff). With a goal under his belt, Drinkwater then provided Jamie Vardy with his first Premier League goal since mid-December.

With the Foxes winning 3-0 against Stoke, Leicester defender Christian Fuchs took to Twitter to give Drinkwater a rather interesting nickname which certainly made us chuckle:

Outstanding. So far this season, we've already discovered that Liverpool's Joe Allen is the Welsh Pirlo rather than the Welsh Xavi and now he's got an English cousin. We wonder what the Ginger Pirlo, Jack Colback thinks about his Welsh and English counterparts...
