The former Manchester United and Liverpool striker has also predicted that Saido Berahino will leave West Brom in the January transfer window.
“West Brom manager Tony Pulis will want the speculation surrounding controversial striker Saido Berahino to be sorted sooner rather than later and, having been backed into 6/4 with BetVictor earlier in the week to be a Newcastle player after the January Transfer Window, I would not be surprised if the striker’s immediate future were to lie elsewhere,” the former Real Madrid striker has written on Betvictor.com.
“Irrespective of who leads the Baggies line up-front I expect the Baggies to get the job done and claim an invaluable three points in a likely feisty Midlands derby.”
West Brom are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment with 27 points from 22 matches. The Baggies are just six points above the relegation zone and are in danger of dropping down to the Championship at the end of the season.
Villa look doomed for the drop, with Remi Garde’s side stuck to the foot of the standings with just 12 points from 22 games.
Berahino has been linked with a move away from West Brom in the January transfer window. According to Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, Chelsea and Stoke City are all interested in the 22-year-old striker.
