Harry Toffolo has tweeted that he cannot wait to get started at Peterborough United, after moving to the League One club on loan from Norwich City.
Really happy and excited to have signed for @theposhofficial! Looking forward to some big games coming up and push for promotion!— Harry Toffolo (@Harry_Toffolo) January 21, 2016
Posh have snapped up the young left-back until the end of the season, and he is likely to play a first team role from the start for Graham Westley’s side.
Callum Elder seemed to have established his place at left back in Peterborough’s team over the early part of the campaign, but injury has hampered his progress at the ABAX Stadium.
Posh have since played Andrew Fox and Lawrie Wilson at left back, but neither of the pair have been able to secure the position.
Toffolo has already proven his class in League One, while with Swindon Town last season, and he also had a productive spell with Championship side Rotherham United earlier this campaign.
Adam Drury, who played for both Posh and Norwich during his career, has backed the youngster’s move - suggesting that he will thrive at the ABAX Stadium.
Toffolo is likely to make his Peterborough debut in their match against Gillingham at the weekend.
