The Dane is heading to Glasgow for good this time.
Earlier this month Celtic finalised a deal to bring Danish international defender Erik Sviatchenko from FC Midtjylland on a four-and-a-half year deal at the club.
The fee for the player was reported by the BBC to be in the region of £1.5 million and Bhoys fans were certainly excited to see this potentially top talent head to Glasgow.
However he did not immediately join up with the club. First he returned to Denmark to finish up affairs in his homeland and today has revealed on his Twitter account that he is finally heading to Glasgow for good.
Sviatchenko had a special relationship with the fans at his former club and is obviously sad to be leaving but must feel a switch to the UK is better for his career development and future path.
Undoubtedly he will see this switch as an eventual stepping stone to the Premier League but Celtic fans will just hope he puts in performances for The Bhoys worthy of such talk.
It is not yet known when he will make his debut for the club but Celtic fans will be excited to finally see him in action.
