Bellusci and Bamba have both been given regular action in the heart of Leeds’ defence this season, but they have been error prone.
The pair have generally been partnered by Liam Cooper, but neither have managed to fully establish their place under Steve Evans so far.
And Prutton said: “Between Bellusci and Bamba it’s always a toss up, who is going to be playing. They don’t fill you with the most confidence.”
At the moment, Bellusci appears to have the shirt to lose, with Bamba being left on the bench in more recent weeks.
Bellusci has improved considerably since Evans took over, and he was impressive against Wednesday, despite Leeds’ 2-0 defeat at Hillsborough.
The Italian has actually been linked with a move away from Leeds, but Massimo Cellino has put a £4 million price tag on him, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.com.
Leeds’ next match comes against Bristol City at Ashton Gate on Saturday, and a win could push them up 13th in the Championship table.
