Wolves have completed the signing of Welsh striker Aaron Colins.
Taking to his personal Twitter account, Aaron Collins has tweeted his delight at signing for Wolves, with his move having been completed earlier today.
Over the moon to have signed for @OfficialWolves, can't wait to get started— Aaron Collins (@aaroncollinsx) January 22, 2016
The 18-year-old striker has linked up with Kenny Jackett’s side to take a place in the development squad.
Despite Wolves selling Benik Afobe to Bournemouth, Jackett is not ready to throw Collins into competitive action just yet.
Collins has scored three goals and registered two assists in 22 games for the League Two side this season, as well playing for the Welsh international youth teams.
However, he is still early in his development, and rushing him into Championship action - for a team who are not performing too well - could be negative in the long run.
Collins is highly rated, and the South Wales Argus reports that Wolves have beaten a number of other Championship and Premier League sides to his signature.
The move is wise one for Jackett to make, ensuring a talented teenager the future, and it is will be intriguing to see Collins finally make his debut for the Midlands club.
