Wolves are at the front of the queue for Newport County talent Collins.
The 18-year-old striker is a Welsh youth international, and has played 22 times for his club this season. He has three goals and two assists in these games, and has been earning impressive reviews for his performances.
Having burst onto the scene, Collins has been gaining attention from higher up the Football League pyramid, and it is stated that Newport rejected an offer from Burnley during the summer transfer window for the youngster.
However, they are resigned to more offers being made for him this month, but it is Wolves who are now leading the race for Collins.
The report confirms that enquiries have already been made for Collins, and Newport manager Warren Feeney is aware that the 18-year-old is highly likely to leave the club by the end of this month.
Kenny Jackett is looking for attacking reinforcements, and although Collins is early in his development, clearly the Wolves boss believes the youngster is ready to step up to the Championship.
