Report: West Bromwich Albion want £30m for Saido Berahino

West Brom - The Hawthorns

Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, Chelsea and Stoke City are all apparently keen on signing West Bromwich Albion forward Saido Berahino.

According to a report in the The Sun, West Bromwich Albion are demanding a staggering £30 million for Saido Berahino.

With Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, Chelsea and Stoke City all chasing the striker, the Baggies are hopeful that a bidding war will force the striker’s price up.

West Brom reportedly rejected a bid of £25 million for Berahino from Spurs in the summer, and they remain determined to get a high price for the 22-year-old.

Berahino has rarely featured for West Brom this season, after publicly expressing his disappointment that he wasn’t able to move to White Hart Lane.

The Burundi-born hitman reportedly has repeated his desire to leave West Brom in January to club officials, but Tony Pulis’ side will only allow him to leave if their asking price is met.

Berahino is under contract until the end of the 2016/17 season, so the Baggies are under little pressure to cash in on him yet.
