To be played on Saturday 23rd January 2016 at 15:00. Venue: Vicarage Road, Watford
Odds: Watford 21/20, Draw 23/10, Newcastle 11/4
Watford welcome Newcastle United to Vicarage Road on Saturday with the two sides having very different aims for the remainder of the campaign.
Watford may not believe quite how well their campaign is going to date and they will be looking to move back into the top half of the table with a victory, while Newcastle need every point they can get in their bid to move out of the relegation zone and stay out.
Watford are currently 12th in the league with 29 points from 22 matches while Newcastle are 18th, eight points worse off and one point behind Swansea City as things stand.
The Magpies have shown signs of resurgence in recent times but it will not be easy to take anything from Watford in their own backyard.
In early team news, the Hornets are without Rene Gilmartin and Tommy Hoban while Joel Ekstrand is lacking match fitness and is unlikely to feature.
As for Newcastle, they must do without Tim Krul, Steven Taylor, Massadio Haidara, Siem de Jong, Papiss Cisse and Gabriel Obertan while Vurnon Anita has a 75 per cent chance of recovering from a muscle injury and Paul Dummett should also be back after suffering a hamstring problem.
