Not my problem - Mauricio Pochettino's response to questions on Emmanuel Adebayor's future

The Togolese striker is being linked with a move to Crystal Palace.

Emmanuel Adebayor's future is one of the big questions of the current transfer window. The Togo striker has been without a club since having his contract at Tottenham Hotspur rescinded and is now available to join a new team - with Crystal Palace and Watford continually linked.

The Palace links are continuing to progress with the Selhurst Park club in need of a new striker to compliment their attacking prowess.

Now his former boss at Tottenham Hotspur was asked about the player's future this afternoon in his press conference.

The Argentine certainly did not want to talk about the Togo striker and is quoted by FourFourTwo as stating:

"It's not my problem.

"I think that I cannot give an opinion about Adebayor or Crystal Palace.

"I respect him and Crystal Palace and what is happening at different clubs is not my problem."

Adebayor was finally released by Tottenham Hotspur in September. The Togo striker had been told by Mauricio Pochettino that his services were no longer required at White Hart Lane – but failed to negotiate a move away from the club during the transfer window. With relations strained the Argentine gave him the boot.

However he is said to be still being paid wages by Spurs until the end of the current season, according to the Daily Mail.
