Tottenham will take on Palace away from home at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Owen has backed Spurs to pick up all three points from the encounter courtesy of a 1-0 win.
“Palace are without a win in their last five league games, and even more worryingly have failed to score in any of those defeats, though they did win 2-1 at Southampton in the FA Cup. And they have lost five of their 11 home games,” the former Newcastle United striker has written on Colossusbets.com.
“I go for Tottenham to win 1-0, even if they had the distraction of an FA Cup replay at Leicester on Wednesday night.”
Former Everton and Aston Villa striker Andy Gray has also backed Spurs to win and has predicted on Paddypower.com: “Spurs have a string of winnable games coming up, starting with Palace who have been struggling to score these last few games.
“Spurs are coming off the back of a strong week with the FA Cup win, so Spurs again for me.”
A footnote added: “Andy’s bet: Crystal Palace 0-1 Spurs.”
Palace will head into the game against Tottenham on the back of a 4-0 defeat to Manchester City away from home at the Etihad Stadium.
The Eagles are going through a bad spell and have not won a league match since December 19.

Meanwhile, Tottenham currently find themselves fourth in the standings with 39 points from 22 games.
The North London outfit are just five points behind leaders Arsenal and are very much in the title race.
