Mauro Zarate has revealed on social networking site Twitter that he is leaving West Ham United.
The Argentine forward has posted a farewell message to West Ham, thanking everyone at the club.
According to The Guardian, Zarate is set to join Fiorentina, who are flying high in Serie A. It has been reported by the British newspaper that the Italian club will pay West Ham a transfer fee of £1.6 million.
Zarate joined the Hammers in the summer of 2014 and was expected to be a massive success at the Boleyn Ground.
The former Lazio forward struggled for playing time last season and was sent out on loan to Queens Park Rangers in January 2015.
The former Velez Sarsfield man has scored three goals and created 20 chances in 15 Premier League games for West Ham this season.
The Hammers are sixth in the league table at the moment with 35 points from 22 matches, just four points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
Meanwhile, Fiorentina are currently fourth in the Serie A table with 38 points from 20 matches, six points behind leaders Napoli.
